Embark on a thrilling journey to Miami's South Beach, where March Break brings both excitement and unexpected surprises. Join us as we share our firsthand experience, from budget-friendly airport transfers to discovering hidden gems amidst the bustling streets.
Upon landing on March 24th 2024, we opted for an Uber ride from the airport, a cost-saving alternative to the hotel's pre-arranged transport, which promised hefty fees of $150. With only carry-on luggage in tow, we navigated Miami's stricter March Break rules, dodging police blockades to reach our destination, The Gabriel Miami South Beach, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Nestled amidst the vibrant cityscape, our hotel proved to be a delightful haven, boasting an enviable location near essential amenities. From nearby CVS pharmacies to easy access to electric bikes for exploration, we reveled in the convenience of our surroundings.
Despite the heightened security measures along Ocean Drive, our stay remained blissfully unaffected. Instead, we savored every moment, indulging in beachside lounging and poolside relaxation, punctuated by delectable culinary discoveries.

Guacamole aficionados will rejoice in our culinary escapades, from mouthwatering offerings at the hotel to delightful encounters at Oh Mexico! and Serena. Our taste buds were further tantalized by a decadent paella for two at On Ocean 7 Cafe, leaving friends and family green with envy.

But the culinary adventure didn't end there. A visit to Pizza Rustica for gluten-free delights, followed by a sweet stop at Baked Bear for freshly baked cookies paired with vegan ice cream, added the perfect finishing touches to our Miami escapade.
Join us as we recount our unforgettable journey through Miami's March Break madness, where every twist and turn led to unexpected delights and cherished memories.
